| A successful portrait captures a microsecond of a subject’s soul. I believe that all living creatures possess a spirit of their experience which defines them and sets their being apart from others. As a portrait photographer, my desire is to capture the spirit, light and form in a loving and respectful representation of the One within.
Photographic portraiture can successfully capture a subject. There is a magic about all successful portraits created by the true artist. Somehow the artist adds a spark of life to the work. My camera and lights are only tools to express the magic of the soul.
