Portrait and Wedding Photography requires a booking, or scheduling fee, so I can maintain order and have a life of my own. The Scheduling fee is paid at the time you schedule and reserve your session. Portrait sessions are limited and I give 20%off of for scheduled events. For best times and early booking discount please reserve the date of your wedding. or beach portrait, in advance prior to your arrival.

I only offer two portrait sessions daily, weather permitting – early morning or late afternoon, This is to use the Magic Hour light which creates the beauty of two becoming one. The creation fee is $275 for a single family and includes:

Weddings pricing is determined by your design. I prefer to work with your coordinator. If you don't have a wedding planner and just want to keep it simple, figure, for shooting the wedding and providing a straight camera to disc CD, it's a minimum charge of $250 with $125/hour after two hours. But I don't recommend this, as this short period of time is to be with you and your loved ones for many years.

To have the images edited and manipulated for color, sharpness cropping and even exposures, you should figure another $180 to the base shooting price of two hours. More, if I do candids at the reception and personal portraits.

Going further I can do prints, framing, albums, or whatever you would like. My main goal is to provide for you a lasting memory of a loving event, which you will never forget until death, do you part. This is a big event in your life and I want to make certain you will remember me in a good light with lots of smiles and happy times to remember in your future.

 What You'll Get With Beach Portraits

Please add $125 for each additional family in a multiple-family session (3 family limit). Children must be well-mannered due to time limitation and delicate camera and lighting equipment. No pets allowed (County Ordinance).


 

Natural Environments

Natural environmental colors and conditions on the beach and water can vary widely depending on weather, time of day and season. It is always a surprise and an adventure.

*Weather/Cancellation Policy:
$275 Creation/Setting fee is required to reserve a scheduled session.
Deposit is non refundable for cancellation with the exception of unfavorable weather conditions and an alternate date is not available. This will be determined by the photographer

Portraits and Weddings on the Beach

Wear white-on-white, white with khaki, ivory, light pastel solids, or white with light denim. These color combinations are best for the beach for both men and women. Identical outfits are recommended. Keep it simple.

Please do not wear patterns and dark solids. Women who choose to wear a dress should select a long, solid, flowing skirt. Dresses should always cover the knee when in a seated position. Please note that beach portraits are always photographed with bare feet.!

As seasoned and skilled photographers, Beachside Photography doesn't just take photographs, as artists, we create portraits. They are unique to our style and composition. NO other cameras are allowed including video, during the session. No Exceptions.

Shine and Glare

Facial shine is extremely detrimental to fine portraiture. Any person with oily, shiny, or perspiring skin should bring a towel. Glare caused by eyeglasses is also detrimental to fine portraiture. Things like sky, grass, trees, etc. will reflect in the lens and obscure the eyes. We recommend removing the lenses or not wearing your glasses at all. Extra charges will apply for artwork required to remove glare and shine.


Wind and Sun

Due to unpredictable outdoor breezes, it is very important to fully spray your family's hair with strong hair spray after styling. Hair clips may be necessary for those with long hair. Prepare for a windy day. Please avoid getting sunburned before having portraits taken.

Special Note

If you are worried about children smiling or listening - don't. Just tell them how excited you are and how much fun it will be. Be happy yourself and have faith in the kids ability to have fun. Nothing else. They will get excited with you. I've worked with thousands of children. The best thing I've found is, once the session starts, PLEASE let me try and establish eye contact with the kids. If you get angry, or upset, or try and control them, they will work with this to create as much of a problem as possible. Photography is and should be, fun. Let's have a happy time! Remember our objective is to produce a sensitive portrait showing the personalities of each and every member of your family - together.   Just sit back and relax, I'll see the images and capture the moments!
